About Hallam Park Boarding Kennels & Cattery in Hallam

Hallam Park Pet Resort first commenced operations in 1960 as Hallam Boarding Kennels and Cattery. It had gone through several owners until it s current owner, Geoff Carthew, purchased the leasehold of the business in 1994 and has over seen many changes to develop the facility into a complete pet care centre. The business on day one was completely run down and in an major need of a make over. The kennels had two dogs and one cat in the cattery and a time clock sign out the front hanging on the fence saying "back in fifteen minutes".

Rather than see the down side of things Geoff saw the opportunity to improve things straight away and has never looked back. In 1996 Geoff purchased the freehold and set about arranging upgrades and submitting an application for a veterinary permit in the exisiting residence. In 1999 the permit was approved to have a permited veterinary practice and our first vets commenced operation after relocating from Spring Square in Hallam.

The current lease holders are the Hallam Park Animal Hospital staffed by two vets and two vet nurses. In 1999 our very first dog groomer was also employed and we have been grooming dogs ever since! Our plan is simple - to always strive to ensure that our service provides our clients the peace of mind for when they are away from their pets that their pets are safe and well looked after just as if they were at home. We do not aim to be the cheapest pet boarding facility nor the dearest - just the best.
